I was excited to find this particular interview with Colin Firth since I've enjoyed the interviews I've previously viewed as part of BAFTA's series "Life in Pictures". A half hour well spent!
From BAFTA's site (December 7, 2010):
"[Colin] describes the 'completely uncomplicated satisfaction' involved in making films such as Mamma Mia!, as well as the awe with which he perceives his films' writers. He also discusses the 'baggage' of being associated with Darcy, and considers the irony of having forged a career playing middle and upper class characters after his Secondary Modern schooling."
Here's a 5 minute excerpt but you can
watch the 30 minute interview in its entirety on BAFTA's website!
